Greenfield Bible Church

Sunday Morning Service   10am

Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering for He who has promised is faithful. And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another and so much more as you see the Day approaching. - Hebrews 10:23-25

When we meet on Sunday mornings, we do so as a church family. Sunday morning is our chance to gather together, as brothers and sisters in Christ. We seek to build each other up through singing songs of praise that are rooted in the scriptures. We seek to declare the whole counsel of God, therefore we work verse by verse through books of the Bible. The main theme of the Bible is the glorification of God; this too should be a Christian’s primary objective in life. By edifying each other through singing, teaching and prayer our hope is to glorify God in everything. We strive to hold fast our confession, stir up love and good works and remember that the day of Jesus’ return is approaching.

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold all things have become new. - 2 Corinthians 5:17

A miracle happens when a person repents of his or her sin and places faith in Jesus Christ. That person is “born again”—not physically, but spiritually. He or she has been forgiven by God and given the ability to obey Him from the heart. Spiritual life takes place daily, within our normal, everyday actions. Sometimes mistakes are made, and sometimes achievements are accomplished. However, all aspects of our lives are a testimony of God’s grace and should bring glory to Him. Living for God is a lifelong journey, not a status achieved.
